1. Cancel & Refund policy

Wilderath Safari follows the cancellation rules mandated by the Forest Departments, hotels, airlines, and other service partners. Due to the regulatory nature of jungle safaris, cancellation terms are strict and non-negotiable.

1. Safari Permit Cancellations

All safari bookings (Jeep, Canter, Elephant, Buffer Zone, Night Safari, etc.) are 100% non-cancellable and non-refundable once booked.

Safari dates cannot be changed under any circumstance as Forest Department portals do not allow amendments.

No cancellation will be accepted for reasons including personal emergencies, illness, delays, change of plan, or weather conditions.

2. Hotel & Resort Cancellations

Hotel cancellations follow the rules of the respective property:

Refunds depend on the hotel’s cancellation window, season, and terms.

Peak-season, long weekends, and special-rate bookings may be fully non-cancellable.

Any approved cancellation will be processed as per the hotel’s policy.

3. Package Cancellations

For combined packages involving safari, stay, and transport:

15% of the package amount is non-cancellable and non-refundable at all times.

The safari portion remains fully non-cancellable.

Hotel and transport cancellations depend on respective vendor rules.

4. Flight Cancellations

Flight cancellations follow the rules of the airline:

Airlines may charge penalties or allow credit shells.

Wilderath Safari cannot modify or override airline policies.

5. No-Show & Late Arrivals

Any no-show or delay beyond reporting time results in full forfeiture of booking.
No cancellations or date changes will be accommodated.

6. Government / Forest Department Cancellations

If the Forest Department cancels safari operations due to administrative or safety reasons, cancellations will follow the rules issued by the department.
If declared non-cancellable (standard practice), no cancellation will be accepted.

7. Force Majeure

Cancellations are not allowed in case of events such as natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, lockdowns, operational shutdowns, or any circumstances beyond the company’s control.

B. REFUND POLICY

1. Safari Refunds

No refund is provided once safari permits are booked and confirmed.

Safari zone allocation changes do not qualify for refunds.

Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed; no refund applies for no sightings.

Refund is only allowed in one exceptional case:

If the Forest Department fails to issue the permit due to systemic or administrative error, a full refund of the safari fee will be issued.

2. Hotel Refunds

Processed strictly based on the hotel’s cancellation policy.

Any approved refund will be transferred after deducting applicable hotel charges.

Date changes may require payment of seasonal rate differences.

3. Package Refunds

15% of total package cost is non-refundable at all times.

Safari portion remains fully non-refundable.

Refunds for hotel/transport components depend on partner rules.

4. Flight Refunds

Flight refunds follow airline rules.

Wilderath Safari cannot expedite or override airline decisions.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Eligible refunds are processed within 7–21 working days, depending on partner timelines and banking systems.

C. FORCE MAJEURE POLICY (NO REFUND)

No refund, cancellation, or rescheduling will be provided due to Force Majeure events, including:

Floods, heavy rainfall, landslides, forest fires

Earthquakes or natural disasters

Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies

Government-imposed lockdowns or travel restrictions

Political unrest, strikes, curfews, or riots

Road closures or transport breakdown

Any action, shutdown, or order by Forest Departments

Any event beyond the reasonable control of Wilderath Safari or its partners

Under such conditions, all bookings are deemed non-refundable and consumed, as per government regulations and partner policies.
